Proposals affecting Glenmoor School and Winton Arts and Media College

The Governing Bodies are keen to hear your views. Please indicate your preference by placing a tick in the appropriate box below, and comment if you wish, in support of your preference in the space provided. You may submit a response for either or both schools. At the end of the consultation period the Governing Bodies will make a decision on the way forward and issue formal statutory proposals / notices as appropriate and in line with regulations. Letters will be issued to parents and other stakeholders.

The proposal for Glenmoor School, with effect from 31 August 2010, to work towards the establishment of a joint 6th form with Winton Arts and Media College; to become a Foundation School; to create a shared Trust with Winton Arts and Media College, the Arts University College Bournemouth, Bournemouth Symphony Orchestra and Cobhams Plc; and to create one Governing Body to control the two schools.
